NKF United is a football team based in Burbage in Leicestershire. The team was formed in November 2009.
NKF United will be playing in the Leicester and District League season 2010 - 2011.
The club will be actively involved in Charity and PR events, raising awareness for the supporting charity.
The idea behind the team was simple. We wanted to combine friends, fitness and enjoyment but in order for us to do this we needed a common interest and a worthy cause. We then approached the National Kidney Federation charity and as a result NKF United football team was born. The club is very focused on the slogan "FITNESS and FUN" and has adopted this mentality throughout the club.
