'Firstly, Well done Rigel and Emma and all of the commitee, players and friends for getting NKF united this far and to our first game of the season..

Secondly, welcome to Kieran as manager of NKF United.

And thirdly, I personally came to the game, as i hope you all did with spirit and excitement of doing well in the match. Start of the game we went 4-4-2 / 4-4-1-1, and both teams went looking for the opener. We started the game better than the opposition in my opinion and got our rewards with a quick goal by a sweet strike by our Ben Rhodes. Well done Ben !

After the goal we seem to let Braunstone back into the game but we still went in at half time with our noses in front. Well done Chaps !

In the second half, Braunstone came at us with all they had, and we got caught alot down the flanks and we paid dearly for our mistakes.

Dave on Braunstone Trinity
The first Braunstone Trinity goal came from a ball over the top, with the striker clean through on goal. NKF Keeper Dave Clarke had no option but to commit himself to the challenge and unfortunately brought down the forward in the process. However he made a mends for his mistake by saving the penalty but was unfortunate in not managing to stop the rebound from being put in the net. Well done Dave nonetheless. We did look suspect in depth and unsurprisingly Braunstone grabbed the winner moments from time.

One chap who really impressed me was Sean Harrison. Keep up the good work rate Sean !.

It was also good to see encouragement from the sidelines especially from injured players like Chris Ducker and Tom Sansome. Well done guys. Your support is very much needed. The players appreciate seeing you there and your support is vital.

WELL DONE NKF UNITED FC !!!
